CITY OF MIRAMAR, FLORIDA
PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT- CORONAVIRUS (CDBG-CV) FUNDS
In accordance with 24 CFR 91.105(c)(2), City of Miramar utilizing its Citizen Participation Plan for amendments to its PY 2020 Annual Action Plan for Community Development Block Grant Coronavirus funds from the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
The proposed Substantial Amendment is to reallocate Microenterprise small business assistance funds to rental assistance. The funds will be used to assist individuals experiencing hardships and unable to make monthly rental payments.
PROPOSED SUBSTANTIAL AMENDMENT
Existing -PY 2020 Microenterprise small business assistance--$150,336.84
Proposed- PY 2020 Rental Assistance--$150,336.84
SUBSTANTIAL CHANGE TO ACTIVITIES IN THE ACTION PLAN
The 30-day public comment period will commence on Monday December 22, 2025 and end Tuesday, January 20, 2026 Citizens are encouraged to review and comment on the proposed amendment during the 30-day comment period to the Economic Development and Housing Department located at 2200 Civic Center Place, Miramar FL. For comments or questions on the amendment, please contact Eva Petitfrere at epetitfrere@miramarfl.gov.
The City of Miramar will meet Monday, January 21, 2026 to consider approval of the proposed amendment. The meeting will take place at 7:00 p.m. in the Commission Chambers at City Hall, located at 2300 Civic Center Place, Miramar, Florida. Interested parties are encouraged to attend and participate.
