HOMEOWNER PRESERVATION PROGRAM (HOPP)
The City of Miramar is pleased to provide financial assistance to qualified homeowners who have suffered hardship due to unforeseen circumstances by assisting them with the opportunity to avoid foreclosures and retain their homes. The program is designed to assist households that need immediate financial assistance to either stop their homes from being foreclosed or sold for non-payment of mortgages and/or taxes. The maximum deferred loan award amount is $10,000. Evidence that mortgages or fees are more than 60 days late is required and reflected by the most current mortgage statement or applicable statement. Properties with Lis Pendens are not eligible. The program is also designed to assist with other eligible activities listed below.

- Emergency utility bill payment
- Emergency Mortgage Payment
- HOA fee
- AC repair/replacement
- Plumbing Repair (pipe repair, clogged drain/toilet)
- Exterior Paint
- Driveways
